  • Carried out research in Theoretical Probability and Statistics, especially in Stability and Ergodic Theory of Markov processes (1972-to this time)
  • Published more than 90 theoretical papers and the monograph: "Strong Stable Markov Chains", VSP, Utrecht, 1996
Professional Activities:
  • Prepare 8 students for Ph.D. Degree on Postgraduate Course in Probability and Statistics, Kiev State University
  • Developed statistical software packages and a series of new methods for estimating the reliability of nuclear power stations (1979-1990, 1993-1994)
  • Developed of a data-base management system designed for monitoring, estimation and forecasting the demographic processes in Ukraine (1992-2000)
  • Participated in doses reconstructions and evaluation of radiological risks for human health connected with Chernobyl accident, especially risks of thyroid cancer (1995 - 2000)
  • Developed of the software for management of financial activity of the enterprises and the organizations of Ukraine (1995 - to this time)
